Hidden in the stunning Scottish Borders, this cozy bungalow was a true escape from the daily hustle. the surrounding hills and countryside provided a tranquil setting for a weekend getaway. the thoughtful hosts left us a welcome package with local goodies, which was a delightful surprise. the bungalow was spotless and well-maintained, with plenty of space for our group of six and two dogs. Road links were convenient, and we were only a short walk away from a beautiful fishing lake with breathtaking scenery.
One minor downside was the lack of a fence for our dogs, which would have been a nice addition. having only one bathroom for our group of four daughters was a bit challenging, but we managed.

The bathroom with a bath or shower was divine! It felt like stepping into a sanctuary after a long day of exploring. As a business traveler, I appreciated the option to relax in a nice, warm bath or take a quick refreshing shower. Absolutely loved it!
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the bathroom with just a shower. But hey, that's just me.
